Hello Everyone:
This is my first ever blog...so it is a little exciting even though it is 1:00 a.m. in the morning. I am part time Comm Studies student at SJSU and work full time at a start up company. I like the flexibility of online classes and I have taken previous online classes before with the older system WebCT. I am still getting used to this new system and looking forward to chatting with all of you through out the semester.

I was used to the webct system as well. blackboard has been quite a change. But it forced me to rethink how I teach my online classes and how the learning management system was to a large extent controlling how I taught (and how my students learned). So now I'm experimenting with blogging, wikis, and google groups.
Hey there! I've also used WebCT, Blackboard, combination (mixed mode classes), but never blogged or used wikis! So I think this is pretty new for a lot of us! Exciting, but definitely an adjustment to get up to speed.
